I need a favor from somebody near Winter Springs, FL
Hi my name's Paul. I actually live in Lincoln, NE, but I am looking at buying a car in Winter Springs FL. Obviously it's quite a long drive for me so I was going to have the car shipped back here, however I'd really like to have a good idea of what I'm dealing with before I send the money out. Pictures can only do so much.
So I'm wondering if one of you nice Floridians (?) would be willing to go give this car a look over and test drive on my behalf. I would be willing to pay a small amount.
Send me a PM and I'll get you my cell number and we can work out a time with the seller. Obviously I'd prefer somebody who knows a bit about what to look for, but anybody willing would be much appreciated.
The car is an '02 LS1 Camaro, Navy blue, Hotcam, Halo headlights, some mild suspension mods, stalled auto w/ trans cooler, and supposedly only mild cosmetic issues.
If anybody knows anything of the car feel free to share.

I'm pretty sure I know the car. Is it from Hennytime (Ryan)? I've ridden in that car a few times. It's very good mechanically and there are very few cosmetic issues with it.

I'll talk to him when I get a chance and see if he'll let me drive it again (drove it once but it's been awhile) and I'll let you know if anything has changed with it.

Yeah that's Hennytime's car. I've honestly never seen it or ridden it but I've been told the car moves out pretty well.
I think he was pretty honest about some small cosmetic issues in the advertisements I'd seen for it from him.

this is the picture I have of it right now, but he's gonna put the stock snowflake wheels back on it
I was told it has a tiny spot on the hood where some tree sap ate the clear coat. Apparently he hit a racoon with it so there some small spider lines on the front bumper cover right side, and some other small things like that.

My forum snooping didn't reveal anything too unexpected. I guess the car used to have a direct port nitrous setup that looked quite nice, too bad that's no longer on the car. And I guess the car has seen the track a few times, which isn't unexpected. I think I saw a quick dyno and idle video of it and I found a new picture. I'm still thinking I want the car at this point.

I could be wrong on the nitrous setup. Maybe he never installed it but he had a direct port setup for sale.
Actually it looks like he used to run a 125 wet shot according to his fquick profile

Nothing wrong with researching the cars history yourself. This is a public forum.

ok, well what I really meant is I ran out of interesting finds :)
My only concerns are :
-Possible swapped engine
-Possible that the rear brake calipers were ground down to fit draglites
