hey all. as many of you know, i have been WAITING for my HIDs to arrive from NY. as of 4:47pm tonite, they have arrived. i got home from the valet job to see the big ole box sitting atop by counter in the kitchen. i was massively excited.
380 bucks in a cash Money Order and a lot of patience for an Xtec H4 5000K highbeam/lowbeam HID kit. 7 year warranty for bulbs and 1 year warranty for ballasts.
pix below:
HID KIT PARTS
=========================
box #1...the ballasts and wiring

box #2...the bulbs, instructions, and more wiring complete with zip ties. WooT!

one of the 2 ballasts..pretty sweet.

misc. wiring

one of the H4 high/lowbeam bulbs painstakingly protected and "cased."

H4 5000K hawtness!!!!!

the whole setup overview of the kit!

earlier in the day i received word from my friend Fabrizzio that he was on his way up from Miami to Orlando for the weekend and we discussed the matter of the rear disc conversion that we'd been talking about for 2 weeks. i said sure why not...so he brought the whole she-bang! LITERALLY! i was AMAZED with all he brought.
i was expecting (2) rotors, (2) calipers, brake pads, studs, etc...
i received all of the above PLUS the BEEFY control arms, the trailing arms, the ABS sensor, the struts, the springs etc....
all of this for 200 bucks cash from a friend to a friend. this swap came off one of his friend's 2003 Honda Civic Si hatchback. 20,000 miles on the setup and it still looks and performs good i'm told.

closer shot of the setup

im excited beyond belief. i will have the HIDs in and working hoping by Saturday so i can show 'em off at the Corner Saturday evening after valet job. the rear discs will be installed once i find some1 knowledgable to do so with me. cuz imma n00b when it comes to brake-type stuff. :/
well, thanks for sharing in my joy...hope to show all my parts off in the very near future. tty all laters!!!
~Joey

i have oem mastishuta nissan maxima hids in my car...im looking for a valeo projector retrofit into a tyc one peice housing it will look much better...with hids oem 4100k is going to be the brightest whitest output....and also oem is the way to go most of the HID kits are cheap and not worth the money and problems associated later in the Non Oem hid systems lifespan....
